Kristina Dejuri (aka Krispy DeRato) is a 30-year-old composer, songwriter, and producer from New York. She holds a Bachelor's in Music Composition from The State University of New York at Fredonia. She was recognized as an All-State (2014) and All-Eastern (2012) composer for her work "There Were Four" (2012). Kristina Dejuri was also the recipient of the ETHOS New Music Society's Young Composer's Award in 2017 for her upright bass solo "The Noctambulist" (2017).
In March of 2021, Kristina began releasing her original indie music under the alias Krispy DeRato with her debut single "Metamorphosis of the Mind". Later that year she released "Anthemoessa" (July 2021), her iconic siren song that skyrocketed to over 100,000 plays in the first year. Her self-directed and self-produced debut EP and music video series, "KRISPY Disc One" was released in 2022. Originally known for sharing her vocal range and unique covers of popular media music, @krispyderato has an audience of over 450,000 followers across all platforms. She is an advocate for mental health awareness, having made appearances for The Arts and Healing Resiliency Center's Online Seminar/Workshop Series in 2021 and 2024.
Kristina Dejuri's cinematic electro-pop catalogue eventually re-sparked her love of all things cinematic to launch Krispy DeRato's career in film scoring. Since 2025, she has been an in-house composer with Castellum Marketing, creating original tracks for iGaming catalogues with international game developers. In 2026, she joined the team at Trucks Music Publishing with her trailer music debut "Cryptids". Additional scoring credits include "Lucidity", a Krispy DeRato x Endel collaboration (2022), and Loving Reaper: Origins", (end of 2026), an original short film from the works of Jenny Jinya, as well as features with various indie artists across multiple genres.
